Food, Wine, and Party Advice for the Oscars
Whether you’re throwing a huge Oscars bash, hosting a few movie-loving friends, or just planning a meal to enjoy during the telecast, we have all the recipes, menus, drinks, and entertaining advice you’ll need. For menu ideas, we turned to the films themselves, letting this year’s 10 Best Picture nominees inspire 10 unique meals. Our menu for the football-focused movie The Blind Side is a Southern tailgate complete with ribs, potato salad, and chess pie. For Inglourious Basterds, which takes place in France, we selected dishes from that country then finished with strudel, a dessert served during a pivotal scene.
